Slimmest workstation is the future of laptop. Recently, HP has announced the bunch of new laptops as of Elitebook and ZBook focusing business users. Also, there is a thunderbolt dock with the laptops.

Starting by newly refreshed ZBook 14u G5 which HP claims, it is the slimmest workstation in the world at 17.9mm thickness, with a weight of 1.48kg. That’s outstanding for a mobile workstation with this lightweight. It is 28% faster than previous generation 14u.

ZBook 14u G5 Specifications:

It is powered by one of Intel’s 8th-gen Core processors which is a quad-core model with vPro technology. It is additionally backed by AMD Radeon Pro graphics. They have not released the complete specs sheet yet. If you are looking for a 4K variant, you can choose the 4K touchscreen variant.

It has a bigger variant too, the HP ZBook 15u G5 runs with i5 and i7 processors coupled with AMD Redon Pro graphics. You can expect a 2TB storage with Hp’s own Z turbo drive.

These workstations come with the benefit from tight security. Also, they are including HP’s built-in Sure View privacy screen.

Upgraded EliteBooks

As they have updated the EliteBook models, they are also powered by latest 8th gen Intel CPUs with vPro technology. Even though they offer upto 14hrs battery life. There is the EliteBook 830 GB which is the successor of 820 G4 offers a 13-inch option.

The Elitebook 840 and 850 GB is powered by AMD Redon RX 540. The EliteBook 840 is also considered as the World’s slimmest laptop under the 14-inch category.

HP is also adding new Thunderbolt Dock G2 which adds up the functionality of 4K displays. It is the first laptop which offers an optional audio conferencing module.

Availability if Slimmest workstation and other laptops:

They are expected to launch in Europe market in the end of this month. The price of the HP ZBook 14u G5 is starting at €909. The 15u variant will kick-off at €929 respectively.

The EliteBook 830 G5 and 840 G5 will both start at €849 respectively. Also, the Thunderbolt Dock G2 might come by May and will cost you €249 approx £220, $305.
