If you’ve been eyeing a dashcam or a home security camera, Qubo has some fresh updates worth knowing about. The Hero Group-owned, Made-in-India brand has rolled out something called AI Guard; a new AI tech that’s built into its security cameras and dashcam lineup. The idea is simple: instead of your camera just quietly recording footage that you check later, it now actively watches for trouble and reacts in real time; think loud alarms going off, footage automatically getting backed up to the cloud, and smart actions kicking in the moment something suspicious happens.
For now, AI Guard is live across all Qubo Security Cameras and the Dashcam 4G Live, with the rest of the dashcam range set to get it over the next few months.
Alongside this, Qubo has also launched a new dashcam; the Qubo Dashcam Pro 2K (Front + Rear) aimed at drivers who want solid front-and-rear coverage without spending a bomb.
Here’s what you’re getting:
- 2K (2304×1296) recording up front, with the rear camera shooting in 1080p
- 120° wide field of view on both cameras, so you’re not missing much on either side
- H.265 encoding with WDR, which basically means clearer footage even in tricky lighting
- A Supercapacitor instead of a regular battery — this matters a lot in Indian summers, since supercapacitors handle heat far better than lithium batteries that tend to swell or die in a parked car
- A G-Sensor that auto-locks footage the moment it senses a collision, so that clip doesn’t get overwritten
- Easy adhesive mounting, 360° rotation, and a 3.5m front cable for a clean install
- Wi-Fi connectivity to pull footage straight to your phone via the Qubo app

Qubo currently has it listed at ₹5,990 (down from the ₹13,990 MRP; yeah, that’s a real 57% off, not the usual “fake discount” trick), available on Qubo’s own site and other online retailers like Amazon.
